Skate Park
 Skate Park Skate Park

The Wells Skate Park opened in 2001. The park is situated between Lovers Walk and the bypass, A39, and is easily accessible from the large Whiting Way car park or over the bridge from Wells Blue School. The skate park attracts young people from all over Mendip and is suitable for skate boarders, roller bladers and scooters.

The skate park cost £40,000 to build and was designed by young people from the local area. The park is protected by CCTV cameras to monitor any damage to the equipment and to provide a safe place for young people
