The Council's committees consider matters within their areas of responsibility and make recommendations or decisions in accordance with the Council's constitution and scheme of delegation.

The Annual Parish Meeting is a public meeting for people who are entitled to vote in local elections in Wells. It provides an opportunity to ask questions, raise matters affecting the city and hear about the work of Wells City Council and local community organisations.
