The Portway Annexe is a converted former school building offering a range of flexible spaces for hire in Wells.
The building has:
- Two large halls suitable for meetings, events and group activities
- A large hall suitable for arts and crafts
- Two dedicated music rooms equipped with speakers, drum kits and guitars
- Smaller rooms suitable for individual use, with free Wi-Fi and power outlets
The Portway Annexe is already used by a range of groups and organisations in Wells for regular activities, classes, meetings and events.

Car Park Hire
Wells City Council leases 20 parking bays at the Portway Annexe and currently has spaces available to hire.
