Casual Markets Operative
Wells City Council is delighted to offer the following vacancies to support our weekly market provision:
Job Title: Casual Markets Operative (multiple positions available)
Overview of the role: To be part of the growing markets team at Wells City Council, supporting the set up and pack down of weekly markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The addition of these roles allows the City Council to manage the resilience of the Markets Team and support the thriving and much loved weekly markets.
The roles advertised are casual positions, with up to five operatives working on any one shift.
Hours of Work: Varying – Up to, 12 hours per week, across 50 weeks of the year on Wednesdays and Saturdays, to be worked between the hours of 5:30 to 9:00 and 15:00 to 17:30. On a casual contract basis
Salary: £17.75 per hour (subject to pending pay award) paid on a flexible basis.
