Wells hosted the eighth year of its annual Comedy Festival with another incredible line-up of spectacular stand-up performers from 24th-26th May 2024. Among some big household names, some of whom were welcomed back this year, rising comedy stars entertained the packed venues of Cedars Hall and Wells Little Theatre. The Mayor of Wells, Cllr Jasmine Browne, was very pleased to be able to attend the Friday Night Gala at Cedars Hall and is pictured here with her Consort, Bill Nuttall alongside the fabulous show host, Amy Gledhill. For the first time, the show was Bristish Sign Language interpreted. After all the acts, local beer and cider were served at the wonderful Wells Little Theatre Bar.
The Mayor would like to thank Festival Director Ben Williams and the huge amount of volunteer support from the people of Wells who made the Festival such a success.
