On a wet and stormy Sunday the Mayor and Town Crier attended the annual Tortoise and Hare Classic Motor Bike Run.
There were around 70 participants raising money for Somerset Air Ambulance.
Earlier in the week the Mayor and trustees of the Skatepark Charity received a cheque from Wells Lions for £1000 as a donation towards the Skatepark project.
It was a very generous and unexpected surprise from the Lions.
