New ‘Wells’ signs have been installed along the Strawberry Line following funding from Wells City Council, helping to make the route more visible and easier to follow for walkers, cyclists and other path users.
Separately, the Strawberry Line team has also been working on a new map of the route, which will be available to collect from Wells Tourist Information. The team is also introducing further waymarking signs between Haybridge and the existing path towards Dulcote.
Together, these improvements will make it easier for people to find and follow the route. There is now a continuous, clearly marked section of the Strawberry Line from Haybridge to the east of the Dulcote recycling centre.
The Strawberry Line is a valuable local asset, providing a route for people to enjoy the countryside around Wells on foot or by bike.
Wells City Council is pleased to support improvements that make it easier for residents and visitors to access and enjoy this local route.
